Leykis 101 Rules

Posted by Admin under: Risk Management .

Tom Leykis is a controversial radio personality (aka “Shock Jock”). Many view him as a misogynist. However, if one can get past the “Shock” part of his persona, what he’s really teaching is risk management for men in the dating market. In other words, how to not get taken advantage of. His segment, “Leykis 101″ is presented as an introductory college course and has a set of rules to live by.

His pick up advice is terrible, but his risk management advice is great. Ignore these two rules:

  • Never approach a woman in a club that’s surrounded by her girlfriends - Mystery has thoroughly refuted this concept.
  • Sit at a bar alone and do not talk to any women - Related to above. Also, “dark clothing” is bad in darkly lit bars as you will blend in and be more easily ignored. Instead follow Mystery’s peacock theory.
